Queens Focus On Re-Entering the Workforce: Challenges Faced by Retirees

Volunteer in Honor of September 11th
New York Cares is proud to support the MyGoodDeed campaign to establish September 11th as a national day of voluntary service. This year millions of people will be observing the anniversary of the 9/11 terrorist attacks by setting aside time on or around 9/11 to perform good deeds that help others in need.

stories about the people New York Cares has helped, meet our visionary leaders and staff and share their
thoughts and ideas with them. This is a great opportunity to learn more about our work and the many ways you can help us address

Online Registration Begins for Winter Wishes for Kids and Families and the Annual Coat Drive
Date: Monday, October 20
This winter, New York Cares will help fulfill the holiday wishes of more than 30,000 disadvantaged New Yorkers through our Winter Wishes for Kids and Families Program. You can be a Winter Wish Maker by signing up to answer gift requests from children, teens, or family members of all ages.
Each December, New York Cares also collects almost 90,000 gently used winter coats and distributes them to thousands of men, women and children who would otherwise go without. You can help this year by hosting a coat collection, donating a coat, or making a financial donation.
